Cosy getaway in North Sunderland 🏡
Hans and Claire are such chommies, making brekkie feel special with all those options. The room was lekker—proper comfy bed, and that roll-top bath? Ja, no! And we found a fridge with fresh milk and little cakes waiting for us on arrival!
Just keep in mind the weather can be a bit moody—couldn't soak up much sun in the garden.

Hans-Jurgen provided a fantastic welcome, making me feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and equipped with a well-stocked mini-bar. Fresh milk awaited in the fridge, a nice touch, especially for morning coffee. Breakfast was the highlight, with a wide selection that catered to all tastes, including delicious cooked options. The garden view from the dining area was lovely, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. I did find the towels lacked quality and could use an upgrade. There was also some noise from neighboring rooms that could be distracting. the attention to detail in service and cleanliness really stood out, making it a memorable stay.

The host was good, offering local tips, and our room was cozy with lovely treats waiting for us! Super easy parking too, a great relief after a long day exploring. Just a charming spot!
Couldn’t help but giggle when I realized we needed more shelf space for our toiletries. Apparently, they didn't consider my full beauty regimen.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the well-stocked mini-bar that included fresh milk, perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. The airy dining room with a beautiful garden view made every breakfast enjoyable, with various options to suit different tastes.
The room could use more shelf space for toiletries.
